Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use Komercia and our related software products and websites (the "Service"). We are committed to handling your data with transparency and care.
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data
The party responsible for processing your personal data (the "data controller") is Gustavo Moreno. You can reach us at any time using the contact details at the end of this policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, password, and the store or product details you provide when you register.
- Usage information: how you interact with the Service, including log data, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Payment information: when you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Paddle (see Section 5). We do not store your full card details on our systems.
- Communications: messages you send to our support channels.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To create and manage your account and process your subscription.
- To respond to your requests and provide customer support.
- To send service-related communications and, where you have agreed, product updates.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
We process your data where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, where we have a legitimate interest (such as keeping the Service secure), where you have given consent (such as for marketing communications), and where we must comply with a legal obligation. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Payments and Merchant of Record
Payments for subscriptions are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). When you make a purchase, Paddle collects and processes your payment and billing information under its own privacy policy. We receive limited transaction data from Paddle (such as confirmation of payment and the plan purchased) so we can provide your subscription. We recommend reviewing Paddle's privacy policy at paddle.com for details on how it handles your payment data.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers (sub-processors) who help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, payment processing (Paddle), analytics, and email delivery. These providers are bound to process data only on our instructions.
- Legal and safety recipients, where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
7. International Transfers
Because we serve users globally, your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where we transfer data across borders, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards consistent with this policy and applicable law.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us so we can remove it.
